The Mesa's Italian Oceanview Estate

We had a great time at Aidan’s SB home. It was a perfect gathering place for our family to come together. Location was great, house was in good condition and Aiden was very responsive to our questions.

The place was great for our family to hang out and spend time together. The kitchen was idea for a big group of people and many chefs (:Beds and couches were all comfy.The shower situation was the main reason we knocked off a star. There are only two showers and one bathtub. We had a big group of people and it added an extra layer of planning. There's a tub, but no way of attaching the water sprayer to the wall or above useless for a practical shower...Also the espresso machine did not work. It just needed a descale and a little TLC... But I'm on vacation..The host was responsive to all of our needs and make sure we were taken care of within the hour. All in all, a great place to stay.

This property is in a great location with beautiful views. Unfortunately we were 3 couples coming up for a wedding in Santa Barbara. The host advertises this place as 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and no further details. We were shocked to find out there were only 2 bathrooms with showers and a bathroom with a bathtub only and one powder room. This is a place that sleeps 9, so you should be aware of the shower situation. There is a jack and jill bathroom separating 2 of the bedrooms. Unfortunately the wood sliding door did not close. We had 3 strong guys and could not get the bathroom door closed. This now meant we could not share the bathroom and my husband and I ended up in the bedroom with 3 twin beds and a bathroom with a tub only.When I reached out to the host he said nothing is broken maybe the cleaning crew damaged the door he also apologized for misrepresenting or not including the detail on the showers.I have stayed at VRBO’s for over 10 years all over the world and never want to give a bad rating to a host however he came back with a video stating nothing was wrong with the door insinuating we are lying. This was not ok, 6 of us did not make up that the door was clearly broken. He must have fixed it and then sent the video. This is the first low rating I have ever given as the description and pictures were dated and misleading. The couches are old and covered with a blanket. Even as I review the listing now says 4 bathrooms soap towels provided bathtub or shower.
